Chiefs in Action

The Canton Varsity Hockey Team took some time during their Christmas holiday break for their annual trek to Gleaners Food Bank in Pontiac, MI, where they volunteered their time to help sort, box and stack boxes of food for people in need.

The Canton Varsity Hockey Team and Dick Scott Automotive Group teamed up together on Friday, December 9th, by sponsoring a "Toys for Tots" night, and the results were very pleasing by collecting enough toys to fill an entire mini-van.“We understand the joy something like this can bring to a child’s life, especially during these challenging economic times,” says Jeremy Majszak, Head Coach Canton Varsity Hockey. “The holiday season will no doubt be hard for some families. We want the children to have a nice Christmas. Canton hockey is so much more than just hockey. Together we can make a difference.”

The Canton Varisity Hockey Team would also like to thank the Novi Varisity Hockey Team for their donations and effort, and to everyone else that donated and helped make this a great success in putting some smiles on some less fortunate kids faces this Christmas. GO CHIEFS!

"Learn to Play/Skate with the Chiefs........"

The Canton Varsity Hockey Team donated some of their time and took to the ice to help local youngsters with the opportunity to skate and learn about the game of hockey during the "Learn to Play/Skate with the Chiefs" progam at the Arctic Edge.
